2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA Arrives in Singapore with New Innovations

Mercedes-Benz Singapore has unveiled the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA in Singapore and brings substantial upgrades to its compact GLA SUV, imbuing it with a more robust character and sporty aesthetics. The new GLA showcases a contemporary light signature, boasting LED High Performance front headlights, an extended range of customisation options, and an eye-catching Spectral Blue paint colour.

In the case of the Mercedes-AMG GLA models, they have received a redesign, including a visually striking front apron, standard LED technology, and integration of the AMG engine with hybrid functions to enhance both performance and efficiency. The latest AMG Performance steering wheel, improved interior features, and driver assistance systems add to the overall luxury and functionality of these sporty SUVs. New light-alloy wheels and interior options further enhance the models' appeal, solidifying the Mercedes-AMG GLA as a compelling choice for driving enthusiasts.

Inside, it introduces a free-standing double screen housing two 10.25-inch wide-screen displays, the latest MBUX system, and a standard leather-upholstered steering wheel. Notably, the GLA now features mild hybrid technology, aligning with Mercedes-Benz's commitment to reducing carbon emissions and delivering a more dynamic yet eco-conscious driving experience.

The new GLA lineup includes the GLA 180 Progressive Line and the Mercedes-AMG GLA 35 4MATIC, offering a range of standard equipment and interior customisation options to cater to diverse customer preferences. The latest MBUX generation brings intuitive operation and adaptive software, while the GLA introduces an immersive Dolby Atmos audio experience through the optional Burmester surround sound system. In a digital twist, the GLA now offers mini-games for entertainment during breaks, further enhancing the driving experience. Safety features receive an upgrade, with improvements in the Driving Assistance package and the next-generation Parking package.

To further reduce fuel consumption and emissions, the GLA's petrol engines receive an electrified touch, featuring mild hybrids with a 48-volt onboard power supply. This technology not only enhances efficiency but also elevates comfort by enabling engine starting, coasting with the combustion engine off, and energy recuperation. The GLA's engine options cater to various driving preferences, offering a mix of power and efficiency.
