Singapore Receives Updated & Face-Lifted 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe


The Mercedes-Benz CLA has always been a popular choice with the youth for its sleek and sporty silhouette, yet without compromising on the fuel efficiency and comfort of its larger siblings. For 2024, Mercedes-Benz has released the face-lifted CLA Coupe with a variety of new features and upgraded options as standard. A revised front bumper and grille that replaces the dotted grill with the Mercedes star. The CLA now gets LED High Performance headlamps and LED rear lights as standard with three additional wheel-rim designs. The CLA 180 & 200 now come with a reversing camera and USB Package as standard, along with leather steering wheels and LED front headlamps, customers will also receive the Parking Package and Mirror Package.

The Mercedes-AMG 35 and 45S both receive the redesigned headlights and taillights, with a new AMG-specific radiator grille with vertical slats instead of the standard star grille. The AMG models also receive a double-spoke performance steering wheel as standard along with new alloy wheels for the 45S.



Interior

The interior now sports the latest generation MBUX, with twin 10.3-inch widescreen displays with several display styles catered for the driver’s current mood. The “Classic” style provides all relevant driver information, “Sporty” has a dynamic rev counter and “Discreet” limits the display to just the essentials. Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto also come as standard, with an option for the Burmester surround sound system for added audio depth and clarity.


The steering wheel is now wrapped in Nappa leather as standard, with choices of trim in dark carbon, open-pore brown lime wood or an AMG line exclusive brown microfibre. Sports seats are also standard with an option of black or sage grey. The AMG line offers the seats in five different colours, black, bahia brown, sage grey, titanium grey pearl/black and red pepper/black.


Powertrain

The 2024 CLA Coupe now gets an additional boost with a 48-volt hybrid system that provides an additional 10kW of power that helps with acceleration. The starter-generator also helps to recuperate energy used to supply the 12-volt on-board network and battery during braking and acceleration.

The AMG 35 models are also equipped with the 48-volt hybrid system to aid the four-cylinder engine that produces 306hp and is distributed via the AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.


The AMG 45 Models will still retain the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 421hp and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.1s.
